plastship is now a member of bvse, the German Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Management (Bundesverband Sekundärrohstoffe und Entsorgung e.V.).
As a subsidiary of RIGK GmbH, which has been actively involved in bvse for many years, plastship is now taking this step to further strengthen its commitment to a sustainable circular economy. Together with RIGK, plastship is focusing even more on promoting the use of recyclates and developing innovative solutions in plastics recycling.
With this membership, plastship reinforces its ambition to further promote the sustainable use of secondary raw materials and actively shape the industry's transformation.
The bvse is one of the leading associations in Germany and Europe, representing the interests of around 1,000 medium-sized companies in the secondary raw materials, recycling, and waste management sectors. The association provides its members with comprehensive support through in-depth market analyses, political advocacy, practical legal advice, and assistance with waste shipment and certifications.
plastship looks forward to working with bvse, RIGK, and other members on solutions that will further drive the circular economy. The focus is on promoting the use of recyclates and developing innovative recycling technologies.
Membership in bvse gives us the opportunity to contribute our expertise in plastics recycling to a strong network and to develop sustainable solutions together with other industry players,
says Andreas Bastian, Managing Director of plastship.
Together with RIGK and bvse, we want to make a significant contribution to promoting the circular economy.
plastship will actively participate in various bvse working groups and projects to promote innovative approaches and technologies in plastics recycling. The goal is to increase recycling rates, improve the quality of recyclates, and strengthen the use of recycled plastics in the industry.
Further information about bvse's activities can be found on the organization's website.
