OdorCheckerSpot

The OdorCheckerSpot is a software-controlled test device with which odor evaluations of various products and materials can be carried out in the laboratory and production. Due to the flexible configuration, the odor evaluation can be used almost universally. One area of application is plastics processing in conjunction with recyclates.

The system can cover three types of testing:

Good/unknown distinction

Differentiation of odors into different quality classes

Classification of an odor into different intensity levels

Workflow:

60 ml granules as samples

Defined measurement sequence in defined gas atmosphere (dry air)

Measurement by 2 gas sensors in temperature-cyclic operation

Rinsing the measuring chamber (glass bottle)

Accumulation of outgassings

Suction / measurement of the headspace

Shown value: calculated characteristic from the sensor signals

Clear differentiation of samples from blank measurements.
