plastship at PRSE 2025 – Solutions for a sustainable plastics circular economy

On April 1st and 2nd, 2025, the Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) in Amsterdam will bring together leading experts and companies to showcase innovative approaches for a circular plastics economy.

As part of the joint plastship stand, the company will present practical services to promote the use of recyclates and optimize recycling processes. Together with its parent company RIGK GmbH, Hannawald Plastik GmbH, and the certification division PlastCert, plastship focuses on holistic strategies for closed material loops.

Digitalization and transparency at the plastship joint booth

At Stand B18, visitors will discover how plastship supports companies with digital solutions and quality-assured recyclates. The key focus areas at PRSE 2025 include:

  • Plastics Recycling Taskforce: Support in implementing regulatory requirements such as the new EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR), optimizing recyclability, and material usage.
  • Recycled Material Benchmark Standardized assessment of recyclates for quality assurance and improved comparability.
  • Digital Recyclate Sourcing: Efficient procurement of high-quality recycled materials via the plastship platform.
  • Material Qualification and Certification: Enhanced quality assurance through standardized testing procedures.

The PRSE provides the ideal platform to showcase practical circular economy solutions for businesses. With the new PPWR, requirements for recycling rates and the use of recyclates are increasing – this is where our services come in,

explains Andreas Bastian, Managing Director of plastship.

Together for a strong circular economy

Sustainability requires collaboration across the entire value chain. plastship is committed to the Plastics Recycling Taskforce and other projects such as KISS, which explores AI-driven technologies for the efficient management of material flows.

The PRSE provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and set new impulses for the market,

Bastian continues.
